Stark Tools (Italy) also produce quality carbide tipped saw blades. We stock a range of ripping and cross cut blades. The ripping blades are ordered with a PVD coating.
The benefits of the coating being:

Surface Hardness
Coating increases hardness on the cutting edge which in turn increases blade life.

Heat Resistance
a thermal barrier is created between the cutting zone and the saw body so to avoid any possible blade deformity and heat absorption

Less Cutting Friction
thanks to the low friction coefficient, coating allows the blade to cut smoother and better.

No material sticking to the blade
cutting chips flow easily so as to improve the finishing of the cut (less marks on the cut surface).
